How it started!
Our Sable Point program started with a request to our good friend Marty Adams of Wiscosin. We just got back into rabbits, were working hard on Himalayans and knew Marty had some nice ones! At the time she didn't have any Himis available but did have a Sable Point doe from Sable lines that she thought might work for us. The minute we layed eyes on "Shyloh" we fell in love with her AND the color! Shyloh never entered our Himi program but did become the QUEEN of our new Sable Point line, as every SP we've ever produced goes back to her. She was a fabulous mother, had huge litters, a heavy milking ability and has passed those traits way down the line. About a year ago she returned home to live with Marty to produce some babies there. Sadly, Shyloh passed away in the fall of 2008. I've lost the only picture I had of her so I can't post one to the site, but we recognize Shyloh's face and bold eye generation after generation. Her legacy lives on!

This buck had to Best of Breed wins as a junior and ended his show career early because he'd never stay clean! Excellent type and dense fur. This buck has proven to throw SP when bred to the correct genetic. He will be bred to our next generation of Sable Points and should shorten the body and add bone density.

This is one of the best doe's we've ever produced. We felt she would do excellent at the National show in Fort Worth but couldn't go. With a light show schedule and little competition we unfortunately decided to retire her to breeding.

This is a hot little Seal doe! Her mother won Best White Fur at MR Nationals in 08. Sally has amazing fur herself and gorgeous type. No Seal competition around so we recently bred her and can't wait to see what she produces.
